Your Recovery Path
First 24 Hours
The first day is for rest. Most robotic procedures allow you to return home the same day. Ensure you have a supportive caregiver nearby, focus on hydration, and keep movement limited to gentle strolls within your home.
Pain Management
We prioritize your comfort using a tailored approach. Following your medication schedule precisely is vital. Do not wait for discomfort to intensify; proactive management ensures a significantly smoother healing process.
Activity & Movement
Gentle movement is encouraged immediately to promote circulation and prevent complications. Avoid lifting objects heavier than ten pounds or engaging in strenuous exercise until Dr. Poliakin provides clearance during your follow-up.
When to Call the Office
Your safety is our priority. Please contact us immediately if you experience a fever above 101.5°F, progressive redness at your incision sites, nausea that prevents hydration, or any sudden chest discomfort.
